Nvidia Shield
I purchased this box a few months back and I didn’t understand why everybody raved about it. I thought personally that an £80 box could feel just as good. How wrong was I, The Nvidia Shield is just the King of all Android TV Boxes. It also costs more than any other box, but in my opinion it’s worth it.
You will find other boxes below which will also perform great, this is just a box that is awesome, runs great and I use as my main Android TV Box.

MeCool KM3 Android TV Box
The MeCool KM3 Android TV Box has an identical look to the Nvidia Shield. It has the same Android TV OS and looks great. It also plays 4K content awesome and the feel of the box is great. It down’t feel like your typical cheap android box, but is a fraction of the price compared to the Shield. More than £100 less to be precise.
My opinion this at the moment is probably one of the best android boxes I have tested for less than £100

Beelink GT-King
This is the box which is said to be the next best thing to the Nvidia Shield. I personally use this as a second box for the other room. It has some great specs and runs like a beast. I was able to view 4K content and even found that gaming wasn’t a problem on this box either. Banggood are the only company which sell this product with a mouse feature on the remote (which is recommended), and they also seem to have the best deals. It’s a bit more expensive than the MeCool KM3, but quite a lot cheaper than a Nvidia Shield.
I’m not sure if I would chose this or the KM3. But both boxes work awesome and this continues to be a second box I personally use.

H96 Max
This is probably one of the best budget android boxes I have tested for a while. The H96 series seem to suit me better and all seem to be great. There are 2 versions of the H96 Max that I love, this one being the cheaper option. It played content really smooth, and for a £30 box it was very impressive.
Obviously when buying budget boxes you will also lose box quality, specs etc but this one does a great job.

H96 Max x2
This is the other version of the H96 Max that I use to use personally as my main box. The only reason I changed it is because I got the Nvidia Shield. I think if I never purchased the shield, this would still be used as my main box today. But for the price and performance I really think this box could work awesome for a very long time.
It’s a little more expensive than the newer H96 Max, but I still think it’s awesome.

Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K
As you may already know, I do most of my videos on the 4K Firestick. I personally think for the price, this is one of the best devices you can get. Although a downfall is you’re limited with storage, restricted to what you can do, and many would prefer an android box over a Firestick any day. That been said, it supports 4K Netflix & Amazon Prime Video which is great. It also does a great job at playing content.
If you are looking for a streaming device which is fast and supports Netflix & Prime Video. Then you won’t go far wrong with the 4K Firestick.

OTG Cable
An OTG Cable is required when wanting to make a USB port available on Firestick. This is required when wanting to use USB devices, Wireless controllers etc. It’s a cheap cable to buy but can help you to improve what you can link to a stick.
When using any Firestick we would say this is pretty much essential. Allowing you to create a USB port for USB Remotes or Storage.

Air Mouse Controller
In my opinion this is the best wireless controller with a built it air mouse feature. I have a video review of this which I will leave below. If wanting to use on Firestick, then you will need the OTG Cable aswel so you can plugin the USB. This controller makes it much easier to navigate and type, and it also looks like a premium remote for such a small cost.
Ever Firestick & Android TV Box user will love having one of these. With an air mouse feature and a qwerty keyboard on the back, you time searching will be a lot less.
